Samson was a very lively 11-month-old puppy. He had been receiving veterinary attention for many months for an injured leg, and Stephanie was given instructions to keep him quiet. This was like asking a three year old child to have an afternoon nap - impossible!
Sadie, at 11 months old was a beautiful looking German shepherd. Having had no real exposure to life Sadie did not cope well, she growled and barked at all people, dogs, cats - the typical response of an under exposed dog. Hoping she would grow out of it her owner kept her away from situations where she would meet others, and as Sadie grew, so did the extent of the problem, she became increasingly unmanageable.
One of our first hydrotherapy clients was Martin Knifton with his 2 yr old Labrador Jack. Martin noticed Jack was limping which was diagnosed by his veterinary surgeon as arthritis in both front legs. The vet recommended that Jack go swimming.
It has now been 4 months since we brought our dog Filbert to you. Filbert was becoming a nightmare to walk he chased balls, bike's, joggers, mowers and even cars. As we walked him to the park he would try and pull me into the road to get to the cars.
